Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent fasting is a meal schedule that alternates between periods of voluntarily abstaining from food and having regular meals (non-fasting1).

This methods has historically been practised in many cultures from all around the globe. Nowadays, this practice has been receiving a renewed interest, due to increased scientific studies that reveal several metabolic health benefits2.
